Christopher YarbroughA man was shot in Shiloh, Ala., early this morning, according to Sheriff Jimmy Harris.
DeKalb County police responded to a report of a possible gunshot victim about 12:30 a.m. at 1766 Main St.
When deputies arrived they found Brandon King, 25 of Fort Payne, with a gunshot wound. King was transported to Huntsville Hospital where he is in stable condition.
Christopher Yarbrough, 25 of Rainsville, was found in the woods close to the residence where the incident happened. Yarbrough is a suspect in the shooting.
Yarbrough was taken to DeKalb County Sheriff's Office by investigators for questioning.
The incident is believed to be accidental. Alcohol and marijuana are believed to have contributing factors.
Yarbrough was arrested on domestic violence charges for a separate incident that happened prior to the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
