A woman who was stabbed last week in Dalton, Ga., died Sunday, Dalton police said.

Glenda Dyer was stabbed in a domestic incident Thursday in a home on Elaine Way, according to police.

Her husband, David Dyer, 48, faces murder charges atop previously filed charges of aggravated assault, battery and felony interference with an EMS worker by violence.

Police spokesman Bruce Frazier said David Dyer's bond hearing was set for Tuesday but that may be rescheduled now for Thursday.

Authorities said Thursday that emergency responders arrived at the Dyer home about 12:20 p.m.

They said David Dyer was outside the home. He was bleeding and apparently had cut his wrists, police said. He fought with EMTs, injuring one slightly, and was arrested. The EMT was treated at a local hospital and released.

Inside the house, rescuers found a bleeding Glenda Dyer, who was taken to the hospital.

She initially was listed in stable condition. Frazier didn't say what caused her death.
