A leaking chlorine tank at Moccasin Bend has been shut off by members of the Chattanooga Fire Department's hazardous materials team and the fire crews are leaving, spokesman Bruce Garner said.

He said one worker was injured and taken to the hospital for treatment and another worker also was transported as a precaution.

The leaking chlorine passed through scrubbers and what was vented to the air outside the containment building was harmless water vapor, Garner said.
