Update: The road closure has been postponed for an indeterminate period of time.

Starting at 8:30 a.m. Monday, East 10th Street will be closed between Baldwin and Foster streets for utility work and building construction, the city transportation department said.

East 10th Street's intersections with University and Douglas streets will be closed as well to facilitate a utility ditch in the middle of East 10th Street between Foster Baldwin Street.

The closure is expected to last until June, weather permitting. Business property access will be maintained and detours will be posted.
