A woman walking on APD 40 in Cleveland, Tenn., was struck by a vehicle Saturday and died of her injuries at SkyRidge Medical Center, authorities said.
Cleveland Police Department spokeswoman Evie West said the woman, whose identity was not immediately released, was hit by an eastbound vehicle at the intersection of APD 40 and South Lee Highway.
West said the department is investigating the incident.
