A 24-year-old woman was charged Saturday in connection with a shooting that wounded a man.

Chattanooga police spokesman Sgt. Wayne Jefferson said in a news release that officers were called to 5102 Highway 58 about 12:45 p.m. and found Gregory Shane Hurt, 26, who had been shot.

Hurt was taken to a local hospital and his condition was unknown Saturday night.

Police charged Kia Key, 24, with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault and tampering with evidence, Jefferson said.
