Grand jury to hear case of Alabama man accused of killing wife at doctor's office

JEMISON, Ala. -- A grand jury will hear the case of a Jemison man accused of fatally shooting his wife in a doctor's office.

WSFA-TV reports 25-year-old Eric Heath Price was in a Chilton County courtroom Tuesday for a preliminary hearing. He has been charged with the murder of his wife, 24-year-old Leaj Jarvis Price.

He will remain jailed while the case progresses.

Authorities said the defendant's wife ran from their home to a doctor's office seeking help on April 13. Police said Price followed his wife inside, then shot her in the head.
