The falls over the dam at Rainbow Lake are seen on Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, in Signal Mountain, Tenn. The Land Trust for Tennessee is helping the town of Signal Mountain to permanently protect the 342-acre public park space.At 8:30 a.m., a 911 call was made reporting a 57-year-old man had sustained injuries from a low fall from a suspension bridge located on the Signal Point Trails at the Rainbow Lake area.
Signal Mountain Fire Department responded and requested assistance from Walden's Ridge Emergency Services for additional equipment and manpower.
According to Signal Mountain Fire Chief, Eric Mitchell, the patient sustained minor injuries and will be transported by Hamilton County EMS to Erlanger Medical Center. His name is unknown.
