Authorities are searching for a missing 14-year-old girl in Catoosa County.
Adriana Jordan Elmore went missing from her home at 155 Buttercup Lane overnight, according to the sheriff's office.
Based on prior events and statements she made to her siblings about wanting to "cross the mountain," it is believed Elmore left on foot into the wooded area on the east side of Taylors Ridge and headed west towards Taylors Ridge, the sheriff's office said. She may be carrying a black North Face backpack.
Due to having Asperger Syndrome, Elmore may not respond if spoken to, the sheriff's office said.
