According to police records, a shots fired call was made around 5:30 p.m. on May 30th. The caller said a group of people were in a verbal dispute inside the mall and that the argument had carried into the parking lot.

As some individuals walked toward their cars, a gun was fired in their director and the shooter fled into the mall, records show.

The mall was not placed on lockdown and the suspect escaped before police arrived, records show.

Later, however Wynn was identified through mall surveillance footage.

In June, Wynn was arrested by the Knoxville Police Department and charged with auto burglary, unlawful possession of a firearm and two counts of aggravated burglary.
