BUFORD, Ga. - Police say a body has been found inside a vehicle down an embankment of highway in suburban Atlanta.
Local news media report that the body was found Wednesday afternoon along Interstate-985 near Buford.
Gwinnett County police spokesman Cpl. Michele Pihera says someone passing by spotted the vehicle in an embankment along the northbound lanes about two miles north of I-85.
Authorities have not released the identity of the person.
Police are still investigating the matter.
