Authorities identified two people found dead after an apparent murder-suicide Thursday night in Bradley County as Ricky Randolph, 57, and Gloria Randolph, 56.

The two were in the process of a divorce, a spokesman for the Bradley County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies in the Criminal Investigations Division are still investigating the case. Both bodies have already been sent to Nashville for autopsies, the spokesman said.

The calls to deputies came in around 7:30 p.m. Thursday, and when deputies arrived, they found the two people dead in the Clear Lake Road home in McDonald.

The address hasn't been released yet, but Bradley County public records show a residential lot at 160 Clear Lake Road was purchased by a John Randolph in December 1977.

The road, which intersects with McDonald School Road, has only nine registered homes on it and is covered by woods on one side and a pasture containing several horses on the other.

Several dogs were barking farther up the road while deputies were processing the scene Thursday night but there was no foot traffic in the area.

No other information was available.
