Anglers who ply the waters of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park now have the opportunity to record their catch and harvest data on the Internet.

The park's new online angler creel survey form -http://www.nps.gov/grsm/planyourvisit/creel-survey.htm - is designed to provide park fisheries biologists with valuable information ranging from seasonal angler use patterns to the size and numbers of fish caught.

Matt Kulp, fisheries biologist for the Smokies, said the survey data will supplement the creel surveys collected by volunteers, park rangers and fishery staff throughout the year.
