HUNTSVILLE, Tenn. -- Three former staff members of correctional facilities have been indicted following an investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Scott County Sheriff's Department.

Multiple media outlets report that on Tuesday, a Scott County grand jury returned indictments against 28-year-old Deana Keith, 31-year-old Elizabeth Gilreath and 27-year-old Tabitha Wilson.

A release from the TBI says Keith had sexual contact with a male Scott County jail inmate while on duty earlier this year. It also says Gilreath opened cell doors to allow Keith to have sex with the inmate.

Agents also say Wilson had multiple sexual encounters with a male inmate.

The women were fired.

Keith is charged with sexual contact with an inmate and official misconduct. Gilreath is charged with one count of facilitation of sexual contact with an inmate and official misconduct.
