Two Winchester, Tenn., men have been named in the shooting death of Angela Sales Kibble, a Bedford County woman whose body was discovered by a neighbor at her Shelbyville home in mid-September.

That discovery came just hours after Kibble's son's arrest in another homicide case, but authorities aren't officially connecting the cases.

Early on Thursday, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents arrested a 30-year-old in the slaying of Kibble, 45, of Belmont Avenue. Kibble's body was found by a neighbor.

"The investigation agents developed information that David Darrell Fletcher of Winchester was connected to the shooting death of Angela Kibble," the TBI release states. Fletcher was charged with criminal homicide. About 12 hours later, the TBI issued a bulletin that another Winchester man, 30-year-old Earl Antonio Taylor, was being sought in connection with Kibble's death. Taylor remains at large and there is a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

The tangled investigation involves the TBI, Shelbyville Police Department, Fayetteville Police Department, and the Bedford and Lincoln County sheriff's offices. The TBI joined the investigation at the request of 17th Judicial District Attorney General Rob Carter.

Kibble's body was discovered within hours of her son's arrest. Michael Domonic Sales, 29, was taken into custody in the Sept. 6 slaying of 19-year-old Carlton Capone Caruth, of Fayetteville, according to accounts in the Elk Valley Times newspaper.

Caruth was killed during an argument involving Sales at a game room on South Main Avenue in Fayetteville, authorities told the Times. Sales had been placed on the TBI's Top 10 list before his arrest. The TBI on Friday said that Kibble had been shot to death, but officials couldn't reveal specifics about the weapon used and other details, according to spokeswoman Susan Niland.

The TBI has not officially connected the two deaths.

"We're not able to speak to the specifics as to motive or suspects other than the two we've mentioned in the releases," Niland said of statements issued by the TBI on Thursday. "But this remains an active and open investigation."

Meanwhile, anyone with information about the deaths of Angela Kibble or Carlton Caruth or regarding the whereabouts of Earl Antonio Taylor is asked to contact the TBI at 800-824-3463.
