A 13-year-old was shot in the face at a home in Harrison on Sunday night.
Police were called to the scene on Buck Trail Drive just before 8 p.m. and found the victim conscious and alert, according to Max Templeton of the sheriff's office.
The victim was sent to Erlanger Hospital.
Officers remained on the scene late Sunday night interviewing witnesses and investigating the incident.
As of 8:20 a.m. on Monday morning, Oct. 26, the victim is still responsive, the sheriff's office said.
