Shane AlbertsonPolice are asking for assistance locating a man wanted for numerous crimes.
Shane Albertson is wanted by several law enforcement agencies for possession of a controlled substance, theft and unlawful possession of a weapon, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
Albertson ran from McMinn County Sheriff's Office officials after a short vehicle pursuit in the Ooltewah area Sunday, according to the release. He is considered armed and dangerous. He has made statements that he will not go back to jail.
Authorities are offering a reward for information leading to his arrest.
Police ask anyone with information regarding Albertson's whereabouts to call 423-698-2525.
