A bicyclist who was struck by a vehicle on Rossville Blvd., Sunday afternoon has died, according to a news release from Chattanooga police.
William H. Sprague succumbed to his injuries at a hospital this morning.
The incident occurred about 2:10 p.m. near 4500 Rossville Blvd., which is close to McDonalds and O'Reilly Auto Parts.
Police said the bicyclist was traveling south and turned abruptly into traffic. The vehicle did not have time to slow down.
The driver was not injured. Police say it is a non-prosecutable case and no charges are being sought at this time.
