Jeffrey B. Robinson, a Cleveland Middle School teacher, has been reinstated to the school system, according to a release by the Cleveland City Schools on Thursday.

Robinson, 37, had a charge of domestic assault against his girlfriend dismissed by the Bradley County Sessions Court. He had previously been on unpaid administrative leave.

"We are pleased that the charges against Mr. Robinson were dismissed and that he will be back in the classroom," said Dr. Martin Ringstaff, director of Cleveland City Schools in the release. "We are glad the issue has been resolved."
