All four buildings of East Ridge extended stay hotel condemned

Occupants have until Friday morning to remove their belongings from the rooms

All four buildings of Superior Creek Lodge, an extended stay hotel in East Ridge, have been condemned today, according to officials. The third buildings was condemned earlier today.

Occupants have until 11:30 a.m. Friday to get their belongings out of the rooms, one occupant said told the Times Free Press.

Two buildings were condemned Wednesday night because of structural damage to walkways caused by rotting, and city officials deemed them a threat to "human life or safety."

Approximately 138 rooms, with an unknown amount of people, were evacuated.
