A Gatlinburg man who raped two young relatives, filmed it and sold the video over the Internet will spend the next 33 years in federal prison.
Johnny Ray Sammons' legal woes are not over, though. He faces decades more behind bars on child rape charges in Sevier County.
Chief U.S. District Judge Tom Varlan on Monday sentenced Sammons to the high end of his sentencing guideline range for what the judge called the "reprehensible conduct" that served as a basis for federal convictions for using a minor in the production of child pornography and distributing child pornography.
