Two of three victims originally sent to Knoxville following a Saturday camper explosion have been transported to a burn hospital in Chattanooga, authorities said Sunday.

According to Jefferson County Sheriff Bud McCoig, an Asheville, N.C., couple and their grandson were injured 9:30 a.m. Saturday when they were attempting to light a gas stove in their camper at Swann's Marina in Dandridge.

Jerry Fender, Joyce Fender, and their grandson, who is unnamed because he is a minor, were sent via Lifestar medical helicopters to the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Two were later sent to Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, McCoig said. The third remained at UT Medical Center on Sunday, according to the sheriff. The conditions of the three were not immediately known.
