Police arrested two men in the late-night shooting of a 24-year-old pregnant woman Monday night.

Jaumichael Hardy, 22, and Jacorey Owens, 20, were both arrested and charged with attempted first degree murder and reckless endangerment after 24-year-old Sharia Reynolds was shot in the leg while in a parked vehicle near the 1500 block of Arlington Avenue about 9:10 p.m. on Monday night.

Her injuries were not life-threatening.

Police found the two men after receiving two descriptions of possible suspect vehicles - a silver Jeep Libety and a light-colored Chevrolet Impala. About 10 minutes after the shooting, officers found both vehicles and brought the two men in for questioning.

The shooting and arrests come as part of a violent few days in Chattanooga. The city has seen a rash of gang-related violence since 22-year-old Robert Jackson was shot to death on April 10.

On Monday, 17-year-old LaDarious Bush was shot to death inside a home on 7th Avenue around 12:30 p.m.

A second pregnant woman was shot on Tuesday morning, but police have not said whether the shootings are related.
