Two ramps at the M.L. King interchange with U.S. Highway 27 will undergo temporary closures tonight and Monday, and again on Tuesday and Wednesday, for construction work.
The southbound U.S. 27 exit ramp to eastbound M.L. King and the northbound on-ramp from eastbound M.L. King to U.S. 27 will be subject to temporary closures between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. tonight and Monday.
Eastbound M.L. King will be closed between the U.S. 27 overpass and Chestnut Street. Traffic can detour on Chestnut Street to Sixth Street/Gateway Avenue.
The off ramp from U.S. 27 North to M.L. King will allow right turns only. Motorists can also use the Fourth Street interchange to reach downtown.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the off-ramp from U.S. 27 North to M.L. King will be closed between 7 p.m. at 6 a.m. to install storm drains. Traffic will use the Fourth Street ramp and Chestnut Street to get back to M.L. King.
