Two teens hospitalized with serious injuries after being shot in Chattanooga

Two teens were shot early this morning in Chattanooga, according to a Chattanooga Police Department news release.

Officers responded about 2:45 a.m. to reports of a person shot at the 2000 block of Sharp Street and found two teens suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both teens were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Their injuries are reported to be serious, but not life-threatening.

Police are working to determine where the incident originally occurred. At this time a crime scene has not been located.

No credible suspect information has been provided to police at this time and investigators continue to follow all actionable leads.
