A 16-year-old boy was shot about 10:25 p.m. Thursday night in the parking lot of Chuck E. Cheese in the 200 block of Northgate Mall Drive, according to Chattanooga police.
Officers went to a local hospital after being notified that the teenager had arrived by personal vehicle with a gunshot wound to the foot. The injury is not believed to be life-threatening.
Investigators believe this shooting is related to a drug deal that occurred in the Chuck E. Cheese parking lot after business hours.
The police have no suspects at this time and investigators will follow all actionable leads.
