More than 20 Chattanooga area employers are conducting job interviews and hiring workers today during a job fair until 3 p.m. at the Chattanooga Times Free Press building, 400 E. 11th St. in downtown Chattanooga.
Employers from a variety of industries will be accepting job applications and scheduling employment interviews for positions in healthcare, transportation, manufacturing, administration, retail, office work, general labor and other fields.
The all-day job fair is being conducted on the third floor of the Times Free Press building, two blocks east of Chattanooga City Hall.
Persons are urged to come dressed for success in professional or business casual attire and to bring plenty of copies of your resume, updated with the most recent work history and skills.
No registration is required, and there is free parking for those attending the event across from the Times Free Press building.
