Residents in Athens, Tenn., have cellphone access again thanks to a temporary tower put up by U.S. Cellular, according to a news release Sunday.

Last week's tornado wrecked the tower, so U.S. Cellular installed the temporary tower on the same site and will keep it there while a new, permanent tower is in place, the release said.

It also said U.S. Cellular is donating $5,000 to the American Red Cross, which is helping local residents through the disaster.
