Police say this man robbed a Highway 58 Waffle House before escaping.William Marcus White, 23, was identified as the suspect in a robbery that took place at a Waffle House on Highway 58 over the weekend.
A handgun was recovered from where White was located, and he was booked into the Hamilton County jail on Tuesday. He was charged with aggravated robbery.
Police were called to the Waffle House at 6 a.m. Sunday and were told that the suspect entered the diner and pointed a black, semi-automatic handgun at the cashier and demanded money.
The cashier gave the suspect cash, according to a police news release.
