For the second time this year, PSC Metals on Chattanooga's Southside has caught fire.

Fire crews received a call at 8:44 a.m. that a fire was burning at PSC Metals, a scrap metal recycling facility located at 980 W. 19th Street on Chattanooga's Southside.

Employees were evacuated and fire crews made "an aggressive attack" on a 40-foot tool trailer that caught fire inside a large warehouse where scrap metal is recycled, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Fire Department.

The fire was extinguished in less than an hour, and the cause is under investigation.

Operations resumed at the facility in another building. No injuries were reported.
