Chattanooga police investigate a shooting Friday morning in the front parking lot of the Walmart store near Eastgate.Police are searching for two suspects in a white Chevy Malibu after a man was shot multiple times in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Brainerd today.
The victim, who has not been identified, is in critical condition, Officer Victor Miller said. The man was shot around 11:10 a.m. in the parking lot of the store at 490 Greenway View Drive.
Officers roped off much of the parking lot with crime scene tape shortly after the incident and were looking in and around parked cars. Much of the crime scene was centered near the store's garden center.
The store itself remains open. A Wal-Mart manager declined to comment on the shooting.
