LINDEN, Ala. (AP) -- State authorities say two men have been arrested after a 200-gallon moonshine still was seized in Marengo County.

In a statement, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says State Bureau of Investigation agents arrested 57-year-old Reginald Williams of Cuba and 49-year-old William Walters III of Nanafalia on Tuesday.

Both men are charged with one count of possession of a still for manufacture of prohibited liquors and one count of possession of illegally manufactured alcoholic beverage.

Secretary of Law Enforcement Spencer Collier says the arrest followed an investigation in which SBI agents located and seized the still at a Marengo County residence as well as several other items.

Williams and Walters were both booked into the Marengo County Jail. It isn't immediately clear if they have attorneys.

The investigation remains ongoing.
