Marriage defense, school vouchers among 4 Tennessee bills to watch

With 25 committee meetings scheduled as the Tennessee General Assembly begins its second week of business, here are a few that are sure to be of interest:

1. School vouchers: Last year, efforts to advance a school vouchers bill that would allow certain students to use public money for private school tuition failed.

But the bill is back after being placed in a House subcommittee. As of Friday, the Senate has yet to do anything with its version of the bill.
