Search continues for man missing since Christmas Eve

Authorities in Calhoun, Ga., and investigators from Cobb County, Ga., continue to search for a 46-year-old man who went missing the day before Christmas.

Roy Gerald Brown was last seen in Cobb County, but his car, a 2007 Pontiac Vibe, was found in a Rite Aid parking lot in Calhoun, Ga., on Jan. 2.

$500 cash and Brown's cell phone were found inside the car.

According to a release from the Calhoun Police Department, Brown was last seen at his home on Dec. 24 around 3:30 a.m. He had planned to be gone approximately 30 minutes but never returned.

A friend said they had spoken to him by phone around 4 a.m. which is the last contact anyone had with him.

Brown is described as a white male with an average build and dark hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black jacket, and blue jeans.
