NORCROSS, Ga. - Police in Gwinnett County are investigating after two people were found dead at separate places in the same subdivision.
Cpl. Deon Washington said officers were called shortly after 9 a.m. Monday after surveyors found a dead man with gunshot wounds lying between two homes.
While officers were there, police got a second call around 11 a.m. reporting a theft at the subdivision clubhouse. Washington said officers investigating the theft found a dead woman with gunshot wounds in an SUV.
Washington said the two bodies were found about 200 yards apart. Police were working to find witnesses and trying to identify the two dead people.
It was not immediately known whether there was a relationship between the two or what, if any, relationship they had to the subdivision.
