Authorities are still on the lookout for Jamie Michael Anderson, 40, who is suspected of stealing a car and using a wallet left inside to go on a shopping spree.

A second suspect, 33-year-old Crystal Russell, is in custody after she was arrested on January, 19.

According to a release from the Dalton Police Department, the car was stolen from a parking lot on Showalter Avenue on January, 14.

The victim reported that he had left his 2007 Toyota Camry unlocked with his keys and wallet inside.

Shortly after the car was reported stolen, the victim's bank cards were used at multiple auto parts stores to purchase close to $1000 in merchandise.

Video surveillance obtained by investigators at those stores revealed two suspects, a man and a woman, had used the cards.

On Jan. 19, pictures of those suspects were circulated by the police and multiple people identified the suspects as Russell and Anderson.

Later that night, the stolen car was spotted by a Fannin County sheriff's deputy who attempted to pull over the car for impaired driving.

Anderson was driving the car, according to the Dalton Police Department, and he refused to stop, leading the deputy on a short chase.

The vehicle was found abandoned in driveway shortly after with Russell hiding nearby. She was taken into custody, but Anderson remains at large.

Anyone with information about Anderson's whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Sam Eaton at 706-278-9085. Dial 9 and enter extension 158.
