Police identify woman who was shot Monday evening in Brainerd

A 24-year-old woman was shot in the Brainerd area Monday evening.

Marquetta Bentley was taken to a local hospital from the 4600 block of Kemp Drive in a personal vehicle while suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, according to police.

No suspect information was available Monday.

Police received the report of a person shot at 6:40 p.m. and officers talked with people outside of a home on the street in the hour after the call came in.
