A fatal crash involving one vehicle on I-75 southbound near mile marker 338 has shut down one lane of traffic, says the Georgia State Patrol.A man died this evening in a head-on crash with roadway construction equipment on I-75 in Whitfield County, Ga.
The Georgia State Patrol says the collision occurred when the driver of a Chevrolet Malibu, headed southbound in the right lane, crossed all lanes of traffic at mile marker 338. Two construction workers on the equipment escaped injury.
Authorities will release the driver's name after notification of family.
The accident investigation is ongoing.
