No one recognizes Valeria Tanco anymore.

No one recognizes her wife, either.

A year after the Knoxville couple won a landmark case at the U.S. Supreme Court, when the justices ruled 5-4 that Tennessee and every other state must respect their marriage, the veterinarians now live in coastal South Carolina.
