Gregory Bradford ScottA Fort Payne man has been charged with murder after his wife was found dead at their home early Monday morning.
According to a report from police, at 4:30 a.m. officers were dispatched to the 700 block of 9th Street SE, entered the home and found the deceased, Ashley Lynn Scott, 25.
The responding officers, along with investigators, determined her husband, Gregory Bradford Scott, 27 was a person of interest and that Ashley Scott's death was tied to an alleged ongoing domestic dispute.
Gregory Scott is currently in the Fort Payne jail and will be transferred to the Dekalb County Jail with felony murder charges. No bond has been set.
