Chattanooga police charge man in Monday's drive-by shooting

A 20-year-old man has been arrested for shooting a 19-year-old man several times, according to Chattanooga police.

Police say D'Marquis Bell was inside a vehicle in the 2600 block of 4th Avenue on Monday when he opened fire at another vehicle beside him around 7:20 p.m.

JaMarcus Davis, 19, was hit multiple times but survived.

Bell is charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault, felony reckless endangerment, unlawful possession of a weapon and aggravated criminal trespassing.
