Sam BeallMary Celeste Beall will oversee operations of Blackberry Farm after the death of her husband, Sam Beall, according to a news release from the resort.
"The announcement is in keeping with the Bealls' longstanding commitment to family ownership and management," the release said.
Sam Beall, 39, died Feb. 25 after skiing into a wooden pole between runs on an intermediate ski slope at Beaver Creek Resort in Avon, Colo., near Vail.
