Chattanooga boy accidentally shot during fight between mother, her boyfriend

A 15-year-old boy was shot just off E. Main Street in Chattanooga around 1 p.m. today, according to police.

The shooting happened at 1711 South Beech Street. Investigators say that the boy's mother was fighting with her boyfriend when "a gun was discharged" and the boy was hit in the chest.

The teenager was grazed and his injuries are not life-threatening, according to police. Investigators have not said who fired the gun. No one has been arrested but both adults are being questioned.
