At 6:00 p.m. Monday evening, the Chattanooga Police Department arrested Paul Vandiver, 66, in connection to Saturday's Eastgate Wal-Mart shooting.

Daniel Mooney, 31, suffered a non-life-threatening single gunshot wound after an argument in a homeless camp near the Wal-Mart off Brainerd Road. Mooney was shot during the altercation and went to the Wal-Mart to get help where he collapsed on the ground before he could make it around the front corner of the building.

Vandiver is charged with attempted first-degree murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
