UPDATE: Catoosa authorities arrest Ooltewah theft, burglary suspect

UPDATE: Members of the Catoosa County Sheriff's Office located Roger Brian Stevens and took him into custody. He was arrested on outstanding Georgia warrants and awaits extradition to Hamilton County, Tenn., to face a multitude of charges.

A joint investigation conducted by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Traffic Division and Criminal Investigation Division has identified Roger Brian Stevens, 24, as a suspect in connection with multiple thefts and a burglary in the vicinity of Ooltewah Georgetown Road.

Arrest warrants for Stevens' have been obtained charging him with burglary, theft over $500 and theft over $1,000, according to a Hamilton County Sheriff's Office news release.

Stevens also faces charges arising from his failure to stop for law enforcement during a vehicle pursuit.

Charges associated with the pursuit are reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident with injury, two counts of reckless endangerment, three counts of aggravated assault, evading arrest and resisting stop-halt–frisk. In addition, Stevens has over 15 outstanding warrants from other law enforcement agencies.

Anyone who has knowledge of the whereabouts of Stevens is asked to notify the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office or their local law enforcement agency immediately.
