A Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School senior has been indicted by a Catoosa County grand jury on charges of rape, aggravated child molestation and furnishing alcohol for a minor.

Destin Noble was indicted May 4 along with Brett Hardy, who is facing the same charges.

According to an incident report from the Catoosa County Sheriff's Office, the crime occurred at some point between 11 p.m. on Nov. 7 and 4 a.m. on Nov. 8. The victim told investigators that she had been at a friend's house when someone gave her alcohol. She then left with Hardy, who had sex with her in an area off of Alabama Highway.

The sheriff's office found out about the case on Nov. 19 after the victim went to TC Thompson Children's Hospital at Erlanger, according to the incident report.

Investigators later charged Noble after finding out that he was also involved in the sexual activity, according to the incident report.

Marissa Brower, spokeswoman for Catoosa County Schools, said Noble was arrested this month and will not be able to participate in the school's graduation. Though she could not speak specifically to Noble's grades, she said he could still receive his diploma - assuming he qualifies.

Noble was booked into the Catoosa County Jail on Monday. He is being held without bond.
