One man was seriously injured in an industrial accident shortly after 9 a.m. this morning at Neff Rental, a company that rents out industrial and construction equipment.
Authorities were not able to give any information on the man's condition late Friday afternoon, but did say he was cleaning a mini-excavator when the accident occurred.
According to a press release from Chattanooga Fire Department spokesman Bruce Garner, firefighters arrived on scene at 309 Corporate Place and provided on-scene car to stem the bleeding.
The patient was then handed off to Hamilton County EMS and rushed to Erlanger Medical Center.
