Fort Payne, Ala., police are seeking the public's help in finding a 16-year-old girl who was last heard from when she texted her mother on May 21.
Fort Payne Police Chief Randy Bynum said Damaris Gomez, a Hispanic girl from the DeKalb County seat of Fort Payne, is described as about 5 feet 8 inches tall, about 115 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
