State fire officials and the TBI are working with the Bradley County Sheriff's Office on the investigation of a Saturday night house fire in Cleveland in which a body was found.

Authorities found the body of a woman in a home in the 3300 block of Bates Pike where the fire occurred, a TBI spokesperson confirmed Sunday afternoon.

The body has not been identified, and the investigation is ongoing.

An early Sunday Morning statement from the sheriff's office said that a nearby patrol deputy was on scene of the fire within 33 seconds of when dispatch was notified about the fire at 9:57 p.m.

Fire crews were on scene within four minutes. The house was "engulfed in flames," the sheriff's office said.

Fire personnel contained it within minutes, but it was "almost completely depleted," according to the sheriff's office.
