Three teenagers charged in connection to vandalism at Cherokee Ridge Elementary

Complaints have been filed against three male juveniles ages fourteen, sixteen and sixteen for the spray painting vandalism at Cherokee Ridge Elementary School, Chickamauga, Georgia last month, according to Sheriff Steve Wilson.

The three juveniles have been charged with criminal trespass and two juveniles have been charged with Criminal Damage to Property 2nd Degree, Sheriff Wilson said.

On the morning of August 29th, school employees found that the building had been spray painted in three locations and that fire extinguishers had been discharged inside and outside.

Wilson stated that a post on the Walker County Sheriff's Office Facebook led to the tip and arrests.
